March 2009

remember the director saying watch the last pisode until the last second, well, it was for this:

The 25th and last episode of Sunrise‘s Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Second Season science-fiction television anime series has announced on Sunday that a Mobile Suit Gundam 00 film will open in Japanese theaters in 2010. The announcement came in the form of a title card at the end of the series finale. Hagane no Renkinjutsushi Fullmetal Alchemist (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood), the second television adaptation of Hiromu Arakawa‘s Fullmetal Alchemist dark fantasy manga, will take over Gundam 00‘s 5:00 p.m. Sunday timeslot starting next week on April 5.

Mobile Suit Gundam Seed and Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny were the last two Gundam television series before Gundam 00. Sunrise had announced at the Sony Music Anime Fes ’06 event in May of 2006 that a Mobile Suit Gundam Seed theatrical film was in the works. However, no release date has been announced for that project, and even its “Gekijō-ban Kidō Senshi Gundam Seed” (Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Movie Edition) title was a tentative name from the beginning.

Bandai Entertainment televised the first Gundam Seed series on America’s Cartoon Network and the first season of Gundam 00 on the Sci Fi Channel through Manga Entertainment. It is also streaming the first episodes of Gundam 00 on the YouTube video-streaming website.

——You don’t say don’t SPAM then you spam afterwards.——

I was in a posting spree in one forum earlier and in one thread we were talking about buying tickets for an anicon, when someone posted this:

Mikan: gnwa nyu ng chatrum 2 ah. XD

t0hruhonda: puro nga spam eh…

got pissed [coz we’re not off topic naman] so I slept and when I woke up, that thread really became a full blown spam thread. lol

Page 1 of SPAM | Page two of SPAM | Page 3 of SPAM | Page 4 of SPAM | the SPAM continues in the succeeding pages, btw

all started by the same persons whose username you can see above, srsly and followed up by noobs.

——On serious harsh words——

On the same forum, we were discussing about Fate/Stay Night being classified as an H-game by one of the member. [I know this is surprising. what more to expect from a noob]. Our conversation went like this:

ok, Crustyroll got it again.

but you won’t get your shitty streams unless you pay me bucks. –love, shinji

still, only in hell will I pay for lossy shitty streams. lol same goes for Naruto streams.

quoting the ANN article:

The Crunchyroll media distribution website has announced that it will simulcast Gonzo’s Shangri-La science-fiction anime and Aniplex’s La Corda D’Oro ~secondo passo~ high school music anime series to its Anime Membership subscribers within an hour of each episode’s Japanese airing this spring. Shangri-La will premiere on April 6, while the first television special for La Corda D’Oro ~secondo passo~ will premiere on March 26.

The Shangri-La anime adapts Eiichi Ikegami’s novel about what happens to Tokyo when global warming turns the city into a tropical city in the middle of the 21st century. To reduce the temperature at the heart of the city by 5°C (9°F), the city is being reborn as the world’s largest forest city. However, despite the flow of refugees to the new city of Atlas, there are not many residents who can actually live in this sanctuary for the elite. Moreover, anti-government guerillas are attempting to stop the forestation. An English version of the official Japanese website for the anime has launched this week. The staff includes director Makoto Bessho (Ah! My Goddess: The Movie, Armitage: Dual-Matrix), series script supervisor Hiroshi Ohnogi (Arjuna, Noein – to your other self), and character designer Range Murata (Blue Submarine No. 6, Last Exile).

Crunchyroll will also begin streaming the first La Corda D’Oro anime series, La Corda D’Oro ~primo passo~, on March 20. Both La Corda D’Oro anime adapt KOEI’s female-oriented romance simulation game franchise of the same name. Their stories center on a girl named Kahoko who receives a magical violin to compete in her academy’s elite music program with a bevy of handsome males. Viz Media will publish the 10th volume of Yuki Kure’s manga version of La Corda D’Oro in North America next month.

Crunchyroll will mark the back-to-back airing of two Naruto Shippūden episodes on March 26 by streaming the first of the two episodes, episode 101, for free within an hour of its Japanese airing. There will be no new episode of Naruto Shippūden this week in Japan or on Crunchyroll due to a pre-emption.

I apologize for failing to update the lists and any other posts here that frigging needs to be updated.

As you have read or observed, I’m on a blogging hiatus for some weeks now [damn studies *sulks*] coz of my professors who know nothing but to bombard us with boring projects, 5 to 8-hour exams and a pile of case studies [I should have just taken another course. my life would have been better *despair*]. And the academic year will end in three weeks, so everything just becomes hell for us. well, that’s basically the reason.

Based on my schedule for the month, things will stabilize by the end of this week [I just hope].

I promise to keep you posted.

I just need some time to deal with my studies seriously.

oh, before I go back to my studying, i’d like to thank mistah-bullshido-san for taking “care” of this blog while I was away. “care” might not be the right term, but it is in a sense. XD

EDIT~ March 4
