Random Rants

Wow, it’s been like years since I last posted. But I kept on getting updates through my email of what’s happening in this blog and surprised by the activity despite years of dormancy. Thank you for appreciating this blog. m(_ _)m I’ll try my best to answer your questions; at least I owe you this.

P.S. I’m not a good-for-nothing citizen anymore, a.k.a. gainfully employed and paying taxes to our shitty government, so I didn’t had time to update the stuff here in my blog. Didn’t have much time for animus either. But I started some hobbies while I’m away. I took on photography more seriously and started gunpla building (more like collecting at this point). Also, went back to being a bookworm. Might as well start sharing those. :)

I created a new blog for a fresh start. This time purely personal.

deleted that one. hahaha. tumblr is to inflexible.

Im now using wordpress.org. :D

It has been a while since I last updated this blog. >.<

Happy new year btw. Hope you had a great start this year.

2010 will be a busy year for me — busier than 2009. Aside from the fact that I’ll be graduating this April from college, I have to study for six months and pass the boards by October. Then comes my most feared chapter of my life, I have to find a decent job and start living on my own. I just hope someone will hire me an give me a decent salary. hahaha.

In lieu to that, I’ve decided to discontinue some things I offer thru this blog which were born out of my boredom — coz apparently, I will not be bore anymore. ehehehe. With all those things that I have to do, honestly, I can’t even eat meals on time.  I only have Mondays as my free day, since I’m also attending review classes on Saturdays and Sundays. [7am-5pm] T^T so I apologize for those requests that I was not able to work on. Im not going to posts line-ups anymore, just check moonphase or animenewsnetwork.com for that matter.

bye. going to sleep now. [it’s morning already actually] XD

im not really back from my hiatus but i wanted to work on the vocaloid song requests that piled up already, so im dropping by my blog for today. XD

my schedule is still virtually suicidal — always busy — even got sick many time due to stress. God has forsaken me! lol nuf of the dramu.

anyway, check the vocaloid page. i uploaded some songs. though not all of the requests, but im working on the rest of the requests already. just had to get some sleep since it’s 2:30am in my clock. heehee

good night. ^^

maybe you noticed already the new widget I added in this blog’s sidebar. That’s the socialvibe widget, a new addition to wordpress.com.

quoting Raanan Bar-Cohen:

You spend a lot of time creating great content and attracting an audience for your blog. What if you could use that influence to make a positive social impact? Now you can.

We’ve teamed up with SocialVibe, and now by adding the SocialVibe widget to your blog, you are able to earn donations for the charity of your choice by getting sponsored by a brand that appeals to you.

The money donated comes from your brand, so you and your readers never have to pay a dime.

I’ve chosen Invisible Children (IC), a charity institution that helps Ugandan children go to school. “We (IC) focus on long-term goals that enable children to take responsibility for their future and the future of their country.” you can read more about my chosen charity through their website: http://www.invisiblechildren.com/home.php

if you found this blog useful, please have some time in helping Invisible Children.

all you have to do is click the "Help Now" button.

it’s been weeks since I got back from my long vacation [well, it was just for 2 weeks, but that’s long already. (;¯‿¯)].

And K-On [animu] was cut to 12 episodes. KyoAni!!! the 13th episode is an extra story.

back to my vacation. Has was it? great with lots of surprises. ehehe.

After taking enough rest from our flight to Albay and a short tour of the city [Legazpi], we went to Masbate — 1 hour ride to Pilar Port then another 2-hour boat ride to Masbate. before, like 10 years ago, the trip takes around 4 hours or more on a wooden motor boat, but thanks to these the travel time was cut to half.  But I tried riding those wooden motor boats to Masbate — t’was tiring and a bit scary.  (;¯‿¯)

[pictures I took while I was inside the yacht.]

Arriving in Masbate, we headed to our relatives’ houses [a lot really]. got too tired to the point of it’s-fine-to-sleep-on-the-floor-just-let-me-rest-now!!!.  and right, i got my share of free mangoes [in Manila, I had to buy them for 10 pesos each. >.<] in my Lola’s [grandmother’s] house. She saved some of the produce for us, coz she knew I’d ask for some mangoes. waaa. lola, I love you!

The next day, I woke up really early to attend the mass. seriously, I don’t do this in Manila; even waking up early in the morning. I once thought evening masses are God’s gift for me. XDDD But, meh… the mass was in Minasbate [the local/vernacular language in Masbate]; I found myself struggling to understand what the priest was saying most of the time. ┐(-。ー;)┌ I can understand a little Minasbate. He spoke a little Tagalog and I can remember the priest saying soemthing about the sex scandal which has been the topic of most entertainment news programs this past month ’til now. He said something like, “yung sex scandal, madali lang kayo makakahanap ng kopya nun. malabo nga lang” [you can easily find a copy of the sex scandal, though the video is probably blurred] Father, how did you know the copies are blurred? don’t tell me you watched the sex video. (゚ロ゚ノ)ノ lulz the sermon was about the use of modern form of communication in spreading the word of God. ehehehe.

After the mass, we took another boat ride to Ticao Island, where we’d stay for a little while before going to Burobangkaso Island and parteh. XD This time we rode a smaller wooden bangka, but I’m used to riding those already. Even to walking on 3 [slippery] bamboos tied together to bridge the boat to the pier with the bangka moving up and down a bit due to waves. (≖‿≖) it’s a skill. XD

[first pic: pic I took while on the boat]
[second pic: small port in Ticao Island]

Took yet another boat for another 1 1/2 hour ride to the small island of Burobangkaso. yes, I was traveling in a boat most of the time — and free [we don’t have to pay the fare. we have connections. /gg so I can basically ride as much as I want from island to island.] lulz. but it was all worth it when I had my first glimpse of the famed island. The island is pretty small; the beach too [is small] and we have it all to ourselves. hnn! one side is a beautiful white sand beach and the other side has a rocky shore, perfect for rock climbing. ^^ the water is not that salty because of  fresh water from a nearby falls. well, here are the pics I took while in the island.

haha. expect randomness to the next level in this post.

I wonder when can I eat indian mangoes without someone asking me whether I’m pregnant or what.

it’s 12am in my clock and I’m not sleepy yet. I actually want to eat unripe Indian mango atm, but too lazy to get up and get one from the chiller. (≖‿≖) I don’t really get why I crave for Indian mango this past week to the point that my parents would be like:

[Dad saw me getting an indian mango from the chiller]

Dad: You seem to crave unripe mangoes, are you by any chance….
me: certainly not. ( 、_, )

[Mom saw me getting another indian mango from the chiller]

Mom: Are you pregnant?
me: ┐(-。ー;)┌  that’s the nth time you asked me that.

Here, in our country, women in their early months of pregnancy are said to crave for sour foods especially indian mango; they call it “paglilihi.” I don’t know if there’s an English term for this coz I think this unique to our country’s culture. well, I don’t care about that, all I want is to eat mangoes peacefully — with no one getting suspicious of anything. ( ̄、 ̄;)

I want to go to Caramoan!!!!

we’ll leave tomorrow for the province, one place which I kinda miss [not just kinda I guess (;¯‿¯) ehehehe] and I actually found this fabulous resort in caramoan peninsula, just near our province. demo…. my Dad didn’t allow me to go there. he said the one-hour boat ride to Gota Island is dangerous, since the waves are big blah blah blah. 。・゚・(ノД`)・゚・。 I rode a passenger boat to Masbate when I was young alone, and the boat ride was like 4-hours. a 1-hour boat ride is nothing. uguuu~ I guess I have to wait for next year to explore Caramoan. *sigh* Caramoaaaaaaan!!!!!!!11

But I finally got a new camera. hihi.

Why do I never get tired of listening to Eraserheads’ songs?

A friend — who always get sleepy when he’s with me because I gave out this sleepy aura [daw] that’s so contagious that it gets to him [but apparently only to him] — gave me a CD of Eraserheads‘ [really] successful reunion concert last Tuesday; I’m actually listening to the album atm. I grew up listening to their songs; I appreciated their music more when I entered high school. I valued more their music when I entered college. I really just don’t get tired of it. Maybe it’s in their unique style or the theme of their songs [college life/ school life]. hmmm…. I don’t know in particular what’s behind the immortality of their music — that people still listen to their songs even if they disbanded a long time ago. I actually wish for them to get back together and continue making great songs that will last another generation or even more. but it’s been years since they disbanded, it’s sad to see that they’ve drifted far apart with their own careers and lives that my dream of hearing new E-heads songs is nearly impossible. Oh well, I still love this band and their songs. (ゃ’∀’)ノ

Here are some of their songs, in case you might want to listen to them.

Now I’m sleepy… *goes to bed* zzzzzZZZZZZ
